What we're building
stumblie starts at one school at a time. It opens at yours once enough students have joined the waitlist. Here is what you get on day one.
One feed for your school
Events, study groups, projects, ideas, and more. Filter by type, or scroll the lot. Only people at your school can see it or post in it.
Verified through your school
You sign in with your school email, so everyone on your feed is affiliated with your school, not a stranger from another campus.
Turn a post into a group
Post "need two more for the hackathon" or "calc study group, Thursdays" and the post can become a group. People ask to join and you approve them. You can also start a group with no post, for a team that just needs somewhere to schedule, and share an invite link that only works for verified people at your school.
A chat inside every group
Text, photos, and polls for picking a time. Mute any group, or get a daily digest instead of every ping. Group chats stay inside your school and are never opened to everyone.
Verified clubs
Anyone can create a club page. A club gets a verified mark when it matches your school's public club data. Spot a fake? Report it.
Find people who build
Search your school by interest and skill: a designer for your app, a third for your lab group. You only appear if you turn it on. Reaching out starts as a connection request that the other person can accept or ignore, and each person can only send so many a day.
Surveys
Ask your school a question and see the answers come in.
Live quiz games
Host a quiz game for your club, class, or friends. Everyone joins the room from their phone.
Built to be safe
Report and block on every post, message, and profile. Group rosters are visible to members only. Email addresses are never shown to other users.
This is the plan for the first release. It will change as we hear from students, and it is not live yet.
